St Joseph's Food Bank Pembroke Ontario

Objectives:

  • Provide food directly to people in need.
  • Serve clients in Pembroke and outlying areas.
  • Provide food orders designed to provide meals for approximately 3 days.
  • Clients may come once per month.
  • Clients may come between monthly visits for bread and milk.
  • Orders consist of non-perishable items such as canned soup, tuna, fruit, and may also include: frozen ground beef, eggs, milk, bread, margarine, potatoes and fresh fruit.
  • We supply baby food, diapers and lunches for school-aged children.

  • Non-denominational, non-profit, non-political
  • Receives no government funding: all food and monies are donated by local individuals, businesses and organizations
  • Volunteers are the backbone of our organization.
