DONATIONS
St. Joseph's Community Food Bank was incorporated as a registered charity # 19183259RR0001 in 1985. We are a non-denominational, non-profit, non-political charity. We do not receive government funding. All food and monies are donated by local individuals, businesses and organizations.
The Food Bank relies on fundraising events, donations of money, food and gifts-in-kind from our generous community members and organizations. We are extremely grateful for your generosity. For information on how to donate, please go to our Donations page.
VOLUNTEERING
Volunteers are always needed. If you are interested in donating your skills and giving back to the community we would welcome your involvement.

Fluctuating/Growing Demand
- Number of meals in the early 2000's, peaked at 76,000 annually
- Between 2007 and 2019 - 50,000 meals provided annually on average
- A total of 122,000 meals provided in 2023.
labour day closure
St. Joseph's Community Food Bank will be closed on September 1, 2025 to observe the Labour Day holiday. We will re-open on Tuesday September 2nd from 9 am to noon. Enjoy the long weekend as we move into the Fall.
