By law, you are not required to produce your health card, nor can the health card number be recorded, but if the card is offered voluntarily, it can be accepted as identification.

HOW MUCH FOOD CAN I GET?
The food provided by the Food Bank is not intended to satisfy all your food requirements. It is provided to supplement the food you are able to get through the income available to you. Food is available to the residents of Pembroke and Laurentian Valley. If you live outside this area, please see the information at the bottom of this page: "OTHER FOOD BANKS"
Food is provided for you and the dependents who live in your household based on the identification you present. You are allowed to visit St. Joseph's Community Food Bank twice per month to receive about 3-5 days of groceries on each visit.
Lunches are available for full time students and part time dependents with no id (visiting weekends, 50% custody, etc,) Lunches may contain nut products.
Please bring your own re-usable clean grocery bags and check all food for any missing items before leaving the hall.
The Food Bank cannot deliver food to you. However, if you are unable to come to the Food Bank, you may authorize another person to pick up food on your behalf. The person picking up the food should have a signed note to that effect from you, along with the identification you would show if you made an in-person visit.
